Diesel | Frenchie | Lost Hills, California
This is Diesel, a seven month old Frenchie who will be joining us for our two week board and train program. Diesel joins us because he struggles with overall obedience and can improve on his behavior when out in public. At home he still tends to struggle with potty training. He loves to be taken out to eat at restaurants and enjoy life in the real world. Over the next two weeks, Diesel and I will work together and develop a well balanced foundation of obedience. Check daily for his awesome transformation!

Training Summary: Today we continued to get to know each other. We also got to introduce all five commands. With leash guidance we were able to gently guide Diesel onto the commands. It’s important to know pressure is only used when needed to guide him to a command – once on command all pressure is released. I noticed he can be timid with sudden noises. Great first day!

Training Summary: Today we took our training to the park. We continue to reinforce all commands. He loves the place command! Diesel is doing really well with his come to sit series. The down command is still a bit challenging for him. Keep up the hard work bud!

Training Summary: Diesel is doing really well with eating all his kibble without relying on his topper anymore. I do add topper to his food as a reward. He is doing really well with distractions. Diesel is improving his impulse control. This means reacting in a more positive/obedient way rather than being overly reactive like barking/running up to people etc. He is killin it with his potty training. I trust him to have free time indoors without him having any accidents!

Training Summary: Today we took our training to the Americana. Diesel faced a ton of distractions. He enjoys being around groups of people! Danté and Diesel are like besties! They match each others calm energy which make it possible to walk through all the madness!

Training Summary: Today we took our training to Home Depot. We continue to increase distractions and taking Diesel to new environments. His favorite place was the Americana! He loves being around big groups of people. He also made a new bestie, Danté the Belgian Malinois! Diesel does really well extending all his commands. Great work bud!

Training Summary: Today we went shopping at Lowe’s. Diesel is such a great shopper. He will walk at your left side and will sit/down when needed. He’s adorable and has so many fans when we go out in public.
