The goal for every dog we take is the same: obedient, off-leash, even with distractions. Off-leash reliability is what our board and train programs are built for, where your dog lives and works with a trainer for one to three weeks. We train to the obedience level of most police and military working dogs.
Working mainly with household pets, we teach the kind of obedience that lets you take your dog anywhere in Bakersfield: a lap of the Kern River Parkway Trail, an evening at The Park at River Walk, a patio downtown, without your dog making the decisions. What we enjoy most is seeing dogs that have spent their whole life on a leash working off-leash and obedient after a board and train, and the look on the dog’s face and the owner’s when a new command finally clicks.

Off Leash K9 Training Founder Nick White is a former US Marine and US Secret Service agent. He has trained with some of the best dog trainers in the world. Nick is also the host of A&Es hit show, “America’s Top Dog.”
Nick currently holds a world record in obedience for achieving the longest down from a distance – 350 yards. Nick achieved this during his 5-day private training seminar in Baton Rouge, LA, and the World Record Academy officially recognized it on March 23rd, 2015.
