Welcome Xena to Off Leash K9 Training Bakersfield!

We’re excited to welcome Xena, a 6-month-old Cane Corso, to our 2-Week Board & Train Program!

Xena is here to improve her obedience while building confidence around strangers and other dogs. At this young age, early training and proper socialization are key to helping her grow into a calm, confident, and well-mannered companion.

During her stay, Xena will be working on:

Basic and advanced obedience

Reliable leash manners

Better focus around distractions

Building confidence in new environments

Becoming more comfortable around unfamiliar people and dogs

Improved impulse control

Over the next two weeks, Xena will train in a variety of real-world environments to help her become a more confident and obedient dog. We’re excited to watch her progress and can’t wait to share her transformation.

TRAINING HIGHLIGHTS: Today’s training with Xena was all about building engagement and introducing light leash pressure. We focused on helping her stay connected, engaged, and responsive throughout the session while gradually introducing new training concepts. Xena did a great job and made some nice progress today! 🐾

TRAINING HIGHLIGHTS: After a fun day of training, Xena got to relax on the place command while practicing her patience around Nickel the cat. She did a great job holding her place command and staying calm despite the distraction! 🐶🐱
