Let’s welcome Sally, she is a young wire haired Vizla, who is staying with us for our famous 2 week board & train program. Sally is very affectionate with her family and playful with the other dog in her home, but will be joining us in order to learn, better manners. She does struggle with major submissive urination when she is excited or unsure of a situation in public. we will be helping her and her family manage and prevent any future behavioral issues along with teaching her basic obedience during her stay. Training Highlights: Sally is progressing phenomenally, both in response to commands and her ability to be more well-mannered. She is now more comfortable in an environment that she was not accustomed to, and was cozy enough to finish both her breakfast and dinner completely, in comparison to the prior day. Training Highlights: Sally is improving rapidly with her behavior and obedience training. We have moved on to a little more advanced training exercises, and although she is a bit vocal when excited, she now maintains better behavior when instructed. It is apparent that she is getting a good amount of mental stimulation and she looks so happy once she gets to have her break! Check in soon for more developments!

Training Highlights: Welcome back to Sally’s journey with us! She is beginning to show more development in her training. Although she is still having some issues with submissive urination, she has made great improvements with her ability to respond to commands, including heel, sit, and down. Training Highlights: New updates on Sally, the sweetheart! Today we have observed new growth in her behavior. Her ability to adhere to commands continues to increase, as shown in our new video with her. She has even begun to return to her crate when training and playtime is over without any need for coercion, which was far more difficult to convince her to perform before. More Pupdates coming soon!

Training Highlights: Sally has just completed her first week with us! The differences in her behavior in comparison to day one are substantial. Today she also got to experience a bit of luxury and was groomed! She definitely enjoyed the attention of being pampered, and received a little trim around her face so her line of vision will no longer be impaired by any stray hairs. She’s looking marvelous! Training Highlights: New update on Sally’s training! She has been progressing phenomenally in her time spent with us here, as you can see in the video below. Her mannerisms and ability to focus on tasks have improved around things that would easily distract her before, such as strangers, cars, and other dogs. She is now even capable of being obedient and attentive when off leash!

Training Highlights: Today we have a new video of Sally’s performance! The walk in this video took place near a busy street with lots of noise from cars, as well as loud sounds from gardeners working in the neighborhood. These are stimuli that normally would have distracted her from responding to her commands, but she did very well in paying attention to her training. Check it out!

Training Highlights: Today Sally went on a little field trip! Here we have Sally in a very public setting, inside a home depot. There are tons of distractions, including smells and noises that she may not be particularly used to, but with the help of her training, she is displaying remarkable behavior!
