Meet Mojo! He’s a handsome, young Aussie Doodle joining us for our Three Week Board and Train Program. Mojo was brought to use because he struggles with walking on a leash, has lots of anxiety when left unattended, and needs improvements on basic obedience. He comes from a loving family and loves to interact with humans. At times he can get overly excited and begins jumping on people. Over the next three weeks together, we will develop a well balanced foundation of obedience for Mojo to enjoy back home with his family. Check daily for his awesome transformation!

Training Summary: Today we introduced all five commands with leash pressure. Leash pressure is used only to guide him into a command. Once he’s on command, all pressure is released. He loves to be out in public and is very curious. The come command is used for is recall. Great first day bud!

Training Summary: Today we took our training to Melrose! Mojo is doing much better with his heel command. We were finally able to get some down command reps in as well. He has a very happy go lucky personality. He did really well on heel throughout his time at Melrose. He does have a tendency to bark at other dogs if he wants their attention. We finally took off his cone! Good job bud!

Training Summary: Over at the park we did some doggy agility and practiced extended place. Mojo at first was very timid of the high benches. After a couple reps he began to get up there without an issue. Great work bud!

Training Summary: We continue to reinforce all commands. Mojo has improved so much in his heel command. He has a fear of certain elevated objects. He continues to improved on the duration of his extended sit, down, and place command. Keep up the hard work bud!!!

Training Summary: Great work from Mojo! He does really well going in and out of the crates, whether that’s at home or in the car to go somewhere. He can be skittish with certain noises. Certain noises tend to spook him out.

Training Summary: Today we trained over at the mall. Mojo met a new friend today! He gets very excited when he see’s other dogs. It’s important to keep him calm, through putting him on command then proceeding once he’s calm. He is doing really well with his heel command. He loves to be in public environments and socialize with other humans.

Training Summary: Mojo is killing it with his heel command! He is much more confident going up on top of new elevated surfaces. Completing down reps is getting easier and easier everyday. Fireworks have already begun in our neighborhood. He’s been cooperating with them really well! Great work buddy!

Training Summary: Mojo was able to be in the same environment as other dogs. At first he’s a little antsy and wants to greet every dog he sees. It’s important to put him on a command until he’s calm. He does really well on heel. His confidence on place command has improved so much. He just hops onto the place cot now!!

Training Summary: Mojo loves the place command. He is comfy and he’s elevated! This is great for his confidence building. He is eating all of his food and drinking water regularly. Due to the heat we train in shaded areas, early in the morning and later in the evening. He’s responding well to all of his commands!
