Welcome to Off Leash NorCal Milo! Milo is a mix between an excitable pup who loves to jump around but also has skittish tendencies. He can often shy away from loud noises and fast movement. Milo loves to play but also loves to pull on leash and can become overly excited and his owners consider him “crazy” and hyper” when it comes to people and dogs.

Milo is doing well with completing commands and is understands what it means to hold command in low distraction environments. He continues to struggle with going into flight mode when he becomes uncomfortable with a loud moving object such as a motorcycle today. He is much calmer all around as far as greeting people, being in public, sleeping through the night in the crate.

Milo has been a bit picky with his food and began to eat more when we included our own dog food in his bowl. The ingredients were similar but he seems to really dislike his. After making this switch he is eating about 4 cups rather than slowly picking at it or eating very little. Handsome boy is learning to love his duration commands. He is practicing relaxation and mental stimulation when holding command, especially when around distractions.

Great work Milo, he is less hyper overall and understanding boundaries. We are completing more offleash with Milo and he is doing much better in comparison to his previous flight mode. Home Depot has been a great challenge for him, can’t wait to see him continue to excel.

Home Depot trips have been so beneficial in building Milo’s confidence! He is loving remaining in command regardless of the noises and movement and is ready to go back to work after short breaks. People love seeing his sweet face !
