Welcome Lotte to Off Leash K9 Training Bakersfield!

Lotte is an adorable 10-week-old German Shepherd puppy who has officially joined our 3-Week Premium Board & Train Program! At this age, everything is brand new, making it the perfect time to build a strong foundation that will last a lifetime.

Over the next three weeks, our focus won’t be on advanced obedience—it’s all about teaching the puppy fundamentals. By setting clear rules, structure, and consistency now, we’ll help Lotte grow into a confident, well-mannered companion.

During her stay, we’ll be working on:

Crate training to help her feel safe, comfortable, and confident when alone.

Potty training by establishing a consistent schedule and rewarding success.

Leash manners so she learns to walk politely without pulling.

Building engagement and confidence through fun, positive training sessions.

Basic obedience including Sit, Down, Place, Come, and Heel as she is developmentally ready.

Proper socialization with new people, environments, sounds, and experiences while keeping her safe.

At just 10 weeks old, our biggest goal is creating good habits instead of correcting bad ones later. Puppies are like sponges, and this is one of the most important learning periods of their lives.

Lotte has already stolen everyone’s hearts with her sweet personality, curious nature, and those adorable fluffy ears! We can’t wait to watch her confidence grow over the next three weeks.
