Meet Gertie. She is a year and a half old Great Dane who is staying with us for our 3 week rehabilitation board and train program. Gertie is very possessive of her owners and home and has a recent bite history. When she notices something or someone is getting too much attention she will nip out of protectiveness and showing her reactive side

Check out Gertie muzzle free in public. She got to work around a busy street and enjoyed some mental stimulating commands like duration sit and down around distractions. Overall she is improving daily and loving her new experiences.

Pretty girl is loving the fresher weather and sun! She’s learning how to hold commands when other dogs are walking by from a distance. We’re slowly closing the distance between her and distractions in order to give her a challenge but not allow her to react

Gertie is doing awesome in higher-level distraction environments. She has a great understanding of all commands. She is eating her food and going potty normally. She is learning that during training time, she can associate completing commands with calmness.

Awesome work at Home Depot Gertie!! She is loving the off leash life and getting to explore new environments with tons of distractions. We also i closed a photos of her callus which was present but less prominent when she began training. This callus is caused by laying on solid ground like concrete and tile.
