At Offleash K9 Training Bakersfield, we believe every dog has the potential to overcome their challenges and live a happy, balanced life. Today, we’re excited to share the story of a special client, Danger, a Corgi about a year old, who has embarked on a transformative journey with us.
Danger came to us struggling with fear aggression, a condition that led her to react defensively when someone approached her too closely. This fear was so intense that it caused her to defecate and urinate on herself in moments of panic. Her reaction wasn’t just limited to fear; she also displayed overly excited behavior, attempting to attack when feeling threatened.
Understanding the severity of her condition, we welcomed Danger into our 2-week rehabilitation program. Our goal is not just to manage her behavior but to address the root of her fear and help her build confidence. Through a tailored combination of behavioral therapy, positive reinforcement, and controlled exposure to her triggers, we aim to help Danger learn to respond to her environment in a more balanced and relaxed manner.
We believe that every dog deserves a chance to live a fulfilling life, free from fear and anxiety. Danger’s journey is a testament to our commitment to providing compassionate and effective care to our canine friends.
