Coltrane | Goldendoodle | Los Angeles, CA
Meet Coltrane! This sweet boy is 9 months old and comes to us with a playful personality that his owners would like to help manage. We’re going to be working on teaching him when it’s playtime and when it’s time to settle down in public or around guests at home. Coltrane loves to run around but will be needing some guidance on confidence building and completing commands with distractions. Follow along here for his journey!

Training Summary: Coltrane is a bundle of excitement, and is working through his rambunctious personality and anxiety. We played follow the leader today, to teach him to keep up with me, as well as to settle him down while completing sick command.

Training Summary: we worked on the fundamentals of sitting down, and after some practice he gave in and was more willing to hold them. I’ve learned that Coltrane struggles a bit with being possessive over items like toys that he finds in the front yard when another dog wants to get near them.

Training Summary: Coltrane has been doing great with his crate manners and loves running inside and out and always ready to have his meals in there. His house manners have improved but when he has to go potty he takes some time to settle down and bolts outside. Coltranes biggest struggle is when I’m putting his collar on, he likes to chew around and struggles to settle down.

Training Summary: Great work today Coltrane! He’s showing me a more submissive side to him and is getting a better understanding of house rules and waiting patiently at the door to exit. He is doing great with the other pups in comparison to day one when he was being a bit disrespectful and trying to stomp on the little pups.

Training Summary: This sweet boy has been completing all commands with the prong collar seamlessly. I started to incorporate the ecollar more along with a simple slip leash, so that when he goes back home, you don’t have to depend on always using the temporary prong collar.
