Meet Arlo! He will be joining us for our Two Week Board and Train Program. He was brought to us because he needs improvement in leash manners, manners in public, and reinforcing basic obedience. Arlo is a super sweet boy but when he gets overly excited he becomes destructive jumping on everyone. In highly distracted areas it is almost impossible to get his attention. Over the next two weeks we will develop a well balanced foundation of obedience for Arlo to enjoy back home with his family. Enjoy his transformation!

  • Training Highlights: Today we trained at the lake. There was a lot less noises and distractions. We really emphasized proper heel and completing multiple reps of his commands. His commands are great for him because it gives him a purpose, something to do. He can now extend his sit and down. Arlo held the commands and allowed me to snap these cute pictures!

  • Training Highlights: Today we trained over at Lowes. Lots of new distractions. He is super friendly with humans. We are teaching Arlo that manners are important in every environment.

  • Training Highlights: Great day for Arlo. He met my small dogs and was able to join them for a pack walk.  He did really well, his energy was calm around them and he wasn’t really intrigued by them. At Lowes he was able to hold commands like sit and down throughout the store. We continue to build his confidence and improve his commands.

  • Training Highlights: Great day of training. We continue to teach him to control his energy and take everything one step at a time. He is doing well with all his commands. His heel is so much better. He still can be skittish with sudden noises but with recall we can get him back.

  • Training Highlights: Arlo continues to work on his anxiety. He is performing all commands on leash. We got to work some off leash. He still needs work on that.  He is eating all of his food and drinking water regularly. During the day he is kept cool inside. He does well around my dogs Dante & Freddy. He is only socialized with friendly dogs I trust to create positive correlations with dogs.

  • Training Highlights: At home we got to work on house manners and rules. He got to be around my dogs where he socialized a bit and ran with them. We also worked on door and gate manners. Teaching him he must respect certain thresholds through different areas of the house. He does a lot better going in and out of the crate. He is eating all of his food and is drinking water frequently.

  • Training Highlights: We continue to reinforce all commands on and off leash. Arlo is performing all commands on and off leash. He is eating all of his food. He does well around calm and confident dogs. Arlo can still be skittish at times. He continues to extend his durations in a command.

  • Training Highlights: Out at the Vineyards Arlo was around lots of public distractions. He did well holding his commands in public. He also got meet a new training mate named Stella. Great work Arlo!

  • Training Highlights: Arlo is performing every command! His heel has improved so much. On heel hems remain on my left side and perform all other commands there too. Great work Arlo!

  • Training Highlights: Arlo is performing every command! We headed over to the Americana where he faced the most distractions ever! He does extremely well in places like Lowe’s, Home Depot, and the mall. In public Arlo is around different people with different energies. He doesn’t jump on people in public. He goes in and out of the crate on command.

  • Training Highlights: Arlo’s training has come to an end. He has been to so many cool new places! He can perform all commands on and off leash. It is important to follow through with all commands. Arlo does great around people, children, and dogs. Great work Bud!
