Toby | German Shorthaired pointer | Bakersfield, CA
Meet Toby, a spirited five-month-old German Shorthair Pointer with a love for jumping onto unsuspecting humans. He has a tendency to forget his size and strength when greeting people, and let’s just say his leash and house manners leave much to be desired. He’s joining our renowned 3-week board and train program, where he’ll not only learn the basics but will also be exposed to advanced obedience training. The goal? To earn his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. This globally recognized program rewards dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. In addition to basic obedience, Toby will be mastering the fine art of potty training.

through patience and repetition, Toby is finally getting the hang of duration commands a bit better! Being that he can get excited or distracted, holding commands, has been a great challenge for him, and we will slowly begin to incorporate more distance, and duration with all Commons.
