We’re excited to introduce Tucker, a handsome Siberian Husky from Bakersfield, CA! 🐾 This lovable pup comes from a devoted family and shares a special bond with his mom—so much so that he experiences some separation anxiety when they’re apart. But Tucker is about to embark on an exciting new journey! 🎉 He’s joining our two-week board and train program, where he’ll learn new skills, gain confidence, and work on overcoming his anxiety.Stay tuned as we document his progress and witness Tucker’s incredible transformation! 🚀

We continue to reinforce commands with Tucker, and he’s making great progress with his recall. We’ve built some trust, and he’s now comfortable taking food from my hand. He’s doing really well with his heel command, and the down command is becoming easier for him.

Today, we trained at Lowe’s, and Tucker made great progress with his heel command. Although he was initially a bit skittish with the unfamiliar noises, he quickly began to adjust and focus. For his first visit to Lowe’s, he handled the environment well and showed significant improvement in staying by my side. It’s exciting to see how much more confident he’s becoming with each new experience.

He really enjoys using the place cot, and elevated objects like this play a key role in building his confidence. It’s rewarding to see how the structured environment and positive reinforcement are helping him grow more secure and comfortable during training sessions.

Today, we trained at Lowe’s, providing an excellent environment for socialization. Rocket had the opportunity to engage with various human distractions, which is helping him become more comfortable around people in different settings. Each session is contributing to his growing confidence, as he learns to stay focused and calm despite the bustle of a public space. These experiences are essential for shaping him into a well-adjusted, self-assured dog.

Training Highlights:

Tucker is making excellent progress, and commands are becoming much easier for him to follow. While on leash, he is consistently performing all the commands we’ve been working on, demonstrating his growing understanding and reliability. One of his favorite commands is the “place” command, which he enjoys practicing and excels at. This level of engagement shows that he’s not only learning but also finding the training enjoyable, which is crucial for long-term success.
