While she may bark at strangers from a distance, it’s just her way of staying vigilant and protective. Walking Rogue on a leash can be a bit of a struggle, as she’s still mastering her leash manners, but with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement, she’s making progress every day. Today, we returned to Lowe’s for another training session. Rogue encountered even more distractions this time around. She displayed some skittishness around shopping carts and the loud noises of lumber crashing onto metal carts. Despite these challenges, she maintained her position on my left side throughout the session.

Today, we had a fun session with Rogue, teaching her to ride alongside me on my left side while biking without causing any accidents. We also worked on reinforcing her commands. She can still get fixated on people in the distance, so it’s important to keep her attention. On the bright side, she’s starting to limit her barking at people from afar.

Today, we trained over at Lowe’s again, and Rogue did an amazing job. She maintained an extended down without me holding onto the leash, even amidst numerous distractions. There were carts passing by and many kids running around her, all of which were new and challenging stimuli. Despite these potential distractions, Rogue stayed focused and composed.
