Welcome Melechai Joshep to Off Leash K9 Training Bakersfield!

We’re excited to welcome Melechai, a 100-pound German Shepherd, to our 3–4 Week Rehabilitation & Board and Train Program at Off Leash K9 Training Bakersfield.

Melechai is a powerful dog who needs help building focus, structure, and clear boundaries. He currently struggles with obedience in public, maintaining attention around distractions, and establishing appropriate boundaries. He is also uncomfortable around unfamiliar people and other dogs, making confidence-building and proper social exposure an important part of his rehabilitation.

Over the next several weeks, our trainers will focus on:

Building reliable obedience on and off leash.

Improving leash manners and public behavior.

Increasing attentiveness and engagement with his handler.

Teaching clear boundaries and impulse control.

Working through reactivity and confidence using proven dog psychology and balanced training methods.

Creating a calm, focused, and dependable companion.
