Koda | Caucasian Shepherd Dog
As a professional dog trainer specializing in behavior rehabilitation, I’m excited to share that Koda, a Caucasian Shepherd with a case of fear aggression, especially towards people and children, has joined our renowned Off Leash K9 Training’s two-week Board and Train Program.
In my experience, Caucasian Shepherds, known for their size and protective instincts, can sometimes develop fear-based aggressive behaviors. My approach with Koda will focus on building his confidence and trust, which are crucial in overcoming fear aggression. The training plan I’ve tailored for him includes positive reinforcement, controlled socialization, and desensitization exercises, all designed to help him respond calmly to potential triggers.
Throughout his stay, Koda will benefit from constant supervision and guidance from me and my team of skilled trainers. We understand the unique challenges presented by fear-aggressive dogs and provide a safe, structured learning environment. Part of our program also involves working closely with Koda’s family, educating them on managing fear aggression and equipping them with the skills to continue his training at home.
My goal is to not only address Koda’s immediate behavioral issues but to lay a strong foundation for his long-term behavioral health. By the end of his time with us, I am confident that Koda will be on his way to becoming a safer, more peaceful companion, enhancing his quality of life and that of his family.
