Starting with minimal distractions allows her to focus on what i’m asking of her before she has to working around challenges outside of her normal environment. Training highlights: Hershey worked on some basics today to ensure she understood leash pressure and got an introduction to using the ecollar. She is eating normally and going potty normally. Hershey has growled at a few other dogs and went after my personal dog so we will be working on helping her stay focused on training in public to avoid further incidents. She has a tendency to show aggression on leash and when she is surrounded by dogs who are more excited than she’d like them to be and will attempt to submit them.

Training highlights:
Neighborhood walks and training have helped build hersheys confidence over the last few days, she would get very nervous and jump away and behind me anytime a car would pass and also tug on the leash when other dogs passed. We will continue to practice all commands in both quiet and more challenging environments

She can still get hyper focused on dogs who may look threatening to her and she will choose to protect herself with growling with teeth showing and lunging at them even if they are at a distance.
