Frankie | Long Haired Dachshund | Bakersfield, California
Everyone meet this handsome pup, Frankie! Frankie was rescued by a lovely family and is currently two years old. He joins us for our Two Week Board and Train program because he struggles with basic obedience, leash manners, and suffers from anxiety. He gets along well with most people but struggles with small children. He has lots of energy and can become destructive when he jumps on small children – most times knocking them over. Frankie struggles with building relationships with other dogs. He is very submissive and can become fearful when a dog is in his personal space. Over the next two weeks, we will help build his confidence and develop a foundation of obedience for Frankie. Check daily for his PAWSOME transformation!

Training Summary: Frankie hit a big milestone today when he met my dog Dante. On the very first day they met, Frankie was acting skittish and wanted to avoid the situation. Today he was able to share spaces and the place cot with him! It still takes Frankie some time with the down command. He’s doing a lot better with the whole jumping situation. Keep up the hardwork bud!
