Training Highlights: Cooper has been finishing his meals and has been doing a better job of being comfortable going potty around the other dogs. He has had many opportunities to have socialization time with the other dogs which has been great for helping him realize that he does not need to be in constant fear. Today, in comparison to his first day has been a drastic change, because he is not reacting and biting toward the direction of a dog who is trying to sniff him.

Training Highlights: Today Cooper worked on all commands, he is doing much better with place command. i have tried to compórtate different textures and heights in order to build his confidence. Copper is struggling with the down command because he does not want to submit and become vulnerable. Out of fear he is holding himself back and only goes about half way down before he pops up. Other than that he is eating and going potty normally.

Training Highlights:Working on loose leash heeling and completing commands on walks has been very enriching for Copper. I’ve allowed for him to take in his environments and focus on completing commands rather than constantly being on alert and being fearful of the unexpected.

Training Summary:

Great work today Cooper! I can see his confidence building daily. He shows lots of interest in sitting before every threshold now in comparison to before. This is amazing and shows how much more he has grown in respect and how much he understand that everything is training. The emphasis i have put into ensuring he sits patiently before we exit any doors and any crates has helped him so much !

Training summary: Cooper did great when it came to socializing with other dogs, i can see that while he is still loving the solo life, he is much more respectful of other dogs. Cooper is doing great when it comes to greeting and allowing other dogs into his bubble unless they are disrespectful and too much in his face then he will give a warning bark.

Training summary: Cooper ran into a dog today who hasn’t the friendliest. It’s important for us to remain confident in his abilities and keep him moving. Dogs in public are always unpredictable and giving him too much affection at the wrong time will instill bad habits. I am glad that he is able to walk past other dogs and people and not be worried that they’ll do anything, he has grown so much mentally and is learning that he shouldn’t be afraid of everything that moves around him.
