Colt | Malinois/German Shepherd mix | Bakersfield CA
🐾 Welcome Colt to Off-Leash K9 Training Bakersfield!
Please join us in welcoming Colt, a handsome Malinois/German Shepherd mix, to our 3-Week Rehabilitation & Obedience Board and Train Program!
Colt is a smart, energetic young dog with a great foundation. While he’s generally friendly with people and other dogs, he can be unsure around certain people and may become defensive in some situations. He also struggles with resource guarding around food and toys.
Over the next three weeks, we’ll be focusing on:
🐾 On- and off-leash obedience
🐾 Proper leash manners and loose-leash walking
🐾 Resource guarding around food and toys
🐾 Building confidence and neutrality around people and other dogs
🐾 Eliminating unwanted behaviors such as jumping, barking, chewing, and inconsistent listening
Our goal is to help Colt become a calm, confident, and well-mannered companion while giving his family the tools to maintain his success at home.
Follow along as we share Colt’s progress throughout his training journey. Welcome to the Off-Leash K9 Training Bakersfield family, Colt! 🐾💙
