Chubbz | Frenchie | Rosemond, California

Chubbz, our lovable French Bulldog, has quickly found his way into our hearts—and our daily routines! He’s not only adorable but also has a calm and friendly demeanor that makes him a great addition to our family. From his natural bond with our kids to his quick adaptability, Chubbz has many qualities that make life with him enjoyable. Of course, like any dog, he’s got a few quirks, but we’re working on those as we go. Chubbz is naturally good with our kids, which is a huge plus; he’s gentle and calm, making him a great companion for them. He’s also mostly calm overall, which is a blessing—especially in a house full of activity! One of the best parts about Chubbz is that he’s a fast learner, picking up commands quickly and eager to please, which makes training sessions fun and rewarding.

As wonderful as he is, Chubbz has a few habits we’re addressing. First, he has a funny but slightly disruptive habit of bopping the kids in the face, so we’re teaching him to be a bit gentler with his paws. At night, he cries like a baby when he’s in his kennel, which can make for some long evenings. Lastly, Chubbz has a tendency to beg for food now and then, and while it’s hard to say no to that cute face, we’re helping him understand that he can’t always have a taste of what we’re eating. Overall, life with Chubbz is a joy. His affectionate, calm nature and his eagerness to learn make him a wonderful addition to our family. We’re excited to continue working with him, building on his strengths, and helping him feel even more at home. Stay tuned for updates on our journey with Chubbz as he grows into his role as our calm, kid-friendly companion!

We’ve also had success introducing some “down” commands, which he’s picking up nicely. Keep up the hard work, Chubbs!
