Callie | Goldendoodle | Santa Clarita, CA
Meet Callie! This pretty girl is joining us for our one week board and train program. She will be working on cleaning up her commands in public, and at home on leash. Callie has a basic understanding of commands, so we will be ensuring she can complete them even with distractions. She can often be overly excited around the people she loves and skittish around cars or loud noises. Stay tuned to follow her transformation!

Callie had a great first day at the park & was working on leash guidance and completing the sit command the first time given. She hasn’t worked with the ecollar yet but the leash pressure will help her to understand that the tension is guiding her. She slept great and is doing awesome in the car. During the day she will occasionally howl in the crate but when this happens i bring her right back out and we start to work on a little more training.

Training highlights: Callie has greatly improved during her walks since we are using a structured walk method. Wish you understand that she still in training mode and she is not in charge of leading the walk. heel is by my side and she has no interest in being playful while in command unless she is on a break.

Training highlights:
Duration commands have gone smoothly for callie, she initially struggled with the down command but is now completing it using leash pressure and hand signals. Dogs in public and people who want to pet her are less of a distraction and now since she understands she is in training mode but she is ready to play and be pet when released. She did have an accident late at night and will be getting a bath

Training highlights: Callie loved her bath today and did amazing with the water & blow dry! she stayed calm and used her sit command while i washed her paws and used the dryer. When it came to use the towel she was also gentle with the hand dry & wasn’t playful or uncomfortable. Callie did really great overall during the bath and walking through the pet store !
