Bailey Belle | Border Collie | Bakersfield, California

My name is Bailey Belle and I’m a Border Collie! I will be joining my trainer Anthony for a Two Week Board and Train Program. My owner’s say I pull a lot when we go on walks. I am very flighty and sometimes act skittish when I hear sudden noises. I get along really well when I’m around other dogs. Check daily to see my PAWSOME transformation!

Training Summary: Today we continued to build a relationship with Miss Bailey. She is very skittish and a very fast runner. We introduced the five commands (heel, sit, down, come, place) all with leash pressure. Guiding her into command with leash pressure. Once she’s on command all pressure is released. Pressure is only used when she needs guidance. Great first day girl!

Weight: 22.72lbs

Morning Feed: All

Evening Feed: All

Training Summary: Bailey is doing well with all of her commands both on and off leash. I am very selective on where I have her off leash due to her being skittish. When she’s in a state of fear, it’s important to follow through with a command. At Lowe’s she can get spooked out by noises of wood being placed on carts. At the park she does great off leash! Keep it up girl!
