Bailey | Australian Shepherd | Sacramento, California
Meet six-month-old Bailey, the Australian Shepherd! Bailey has joined our two-week board and train program to work on her leash walking, recall, and basic obedience skills. Despite her challenges, Bailey is incredibly lovable and enjoys showering everyone with licks and kisses. She does have a tendency to jump on new people in her excitement, which can be a bit overwhelming, but she’s wonderful with both humans and other dogs. Coming from a loving family, Bailey is sure to undergo an impressive transformation. Stay tuned to see her progress!

Bailey is doing really well with our commands, and it’s all starting to come together. She walks on my left side and, although she can still be somewhat scared of really loud noises, she generally maintains her position well. Training Highlights:
We continue to build Bailey’s confidence and work on improving her skittishness. She does really well at places like Lowe’s and performed exceptionally today at the dog park. While we didn’t go inside, we worked on the perimeter to help manage her reactions toward other dogs. By “reactions,” I mean she gets easily distracted and doesn’t want to listen. Great work today, Bailey!
