Welcome Empress to Our Rehabilitation & Obedience Program! 🐾
Meet Empress, a 1-year, 10-month-old Rottweiler weighing approximately 95 pounds. Empress has joined us for our Rehabilitation & Obedience Board & Train Program.
Empress struggles with significant fear, insecurity, and resource guarding. Her family has experienced challenging behaviors including fear-based aggression toward strangers, reactivity toward other dogs, guarding food and toys, running out the front door, and biting her owner when she becomes overwhelmed or defensive.
Our Goals for Empress
During her stay, we’ll focus on:
Building confidence and trust
Addressing fear-based aggression
Improving her behavior around strangers and other dogs
Working through food and toy resource guarding
Establishing boundaries and impulse control
Reliable obedience and leash manners
Better control around doors and entrances
With Empress, we’re not simply teaching commands. We’ll be working on the underlying behavior and state of mind through structure, consistency, obedience, and our dog psychology approach.
We’ll continue updating this page throughout her stay so her family can follow her progress and watch her confidence grow.
