Penny | Golden doodle | Bakersfield, CA
Let’s welcome Penny, a 10-month-old Goldendoodle, to our 2-Week Board & Train Program! Penny is a sweet, energetic young dog who is ready to learn how to become a calmer, more well-mannered companion both at home and out in public.
Over the next two weeks, we’ll focus heavily on dog psychology, structure, and behavioral modification to help Penny better understand boundaries, make good decisions, and build confidence. Along with creating a healthier state of mind, we’ll be teaching her a solid obedience foundation, including Sit, Down, Place, Come, Heel, and Off, while improving her responsiveness around everyday distractions.
One of Penny’s biggest goals is learning to relax in the home by reducing over excitement, nipping, and impulsive behaviors. We’ll also be working on house manners, appropriate chewing habits, reliable free roaming, and helping her become trustworthy when she’s not confined.
Outside the home, Penny will practice polite leash manners, reliable recall, calm greetings, and maintaining focus in distracting environments like parks, family outings, sporting events, and around visitors. Our goal is to help her become a dog her family can confidently include in everyday adventures.
We’re excited to watch Penny’s transformation and can’t wait to share her progress throughout her training journey!
