Scooby | Pit Mix | Bakersfield

This 4-year-old Pit Bull mix is here for our 3-Week Board & Train Rehabilitation Program to work on structure, impulse control, and overall behavior.

He is very driven and determined, especially with containment, and has been known to pull boards off fencing if trying to get out. If he does escape, he may run down the street and return.

He shows toy and food possessiveness and is generally good with dogs, with one past altercation. Around people, he is timid and slow to warm up.

Main training goals include reducing overexcitement when going outside, improving listening skills with all handlers, and creating calmer transitions after being crated. During his stay, we’ll focus on obedience, structure, and confidence to set him up for long-term success. 🐾
