Coffee | Belgian Malinois | Bakersfield, California

Meet Coffee, the Belgian Malinois! She will be joining us for a Two Week Board and Train program. She joins us because she does lack leash manners, is dog reactive, and lacks basic obedience. She is very sweet with the other dogs at home. On walks if she sees another dog, she will bark and lunge in the direction of the dog. She is super energetic when at home. She can have some potty accidents from time to time when indoors. Over the next two weeks, we will create a well balanced foundation of obedience for Coffee to enjoy back with her family!

Training Summary: “WERE GOING TO HOLLYWOOD!” Today was a fun outing where we headed to the walk of fame on Hollywood Blvd! At first walking through the crowds of people – she was a bit timid and skeptical of the environment. Although she did not bark nor was she lunging which is great improvement. Leadership is important especially in environments like these. She’s very smart and sometimes certain noises may trigger her. Some examples may be people yelling and very loud noises. She loves the place cot and is very familiar with it. It’s important to make her doggy beds significant like this place cot. I can take this cot anywhere and she will be confident and calm. The place cot means the same anywhere we go. Great training session for her first visit here!
